I was born in Panama City, Fl to parents that facilitated my path as a humanitarian. As a military dependent my early education years were spent in Great Falls, Montana; Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; Willingboro, NJ and Panama City, Fl. The travels allowed me to participate in as well as observe many cultures. This lead to my inspiration to love and care about people from all walks of life.My first real act of random kindness was bringing home a classmate to live with me because her father that was raising her was placed in a nursing home. During my college years I also spent each summer as a lifeguard and camp leader at a local recreation parks. College years also consisted of being on the varsity cheerleader squad at FAMU and achieving Lieutenant Status in the Army ROTC. It was during those college years that I met Michael Moses who would later become my collaborator in helping the Homeless of Atlanta. Educational achievements are: Bachelors of Science (Criminal Justice) from FAMU; Masters in Elementary Education from Breneau University of Atlanta, Ga, Master in Elementary Education from Central Michigan and a Specialist in Administration and Leadership from University of Lincoln Memorial in Tennessee.I am also a member of the City of Atlanta Women on Commission Board. After working several years as a volunteer at my church’s homeless ministry (HLE) His Love, Extended, I became very discontent about returning men to the streets after feeding them and giving them the word. My perception was, "How will they ever get on their feet if someone doesn’t give them a place to live." After much prayer and thought, I decided to take on the challenge. At that time my brother had two five bedroom homes that were perfect for getting started. And from this plan Genesis Mission was born
